Hey, is Caraban going on in Toronto right now? If it is then it would be worth going to. For all you who don't know, Caraban (am I spelling this right?) is a celebration of different cultures. There are pavilions or something set up around the city, each one focusing on a different culture. There is Food, music, theater, dance, costume, language everything!!!
I've never actually been to Caraban in Toronto, so i'm assuming it's similar to Carabram, which we have here in Brapmton, only much bigger!!
This really is something worth going to if you're in the area (if i'm right that's it's going on right now. Or if it's not then when it is!!).
What other places out there do the same sort of thing?

Culture Vultures

Sometimes it takes a great amount of effort to find cultural events. When I lived in Longmont Colorado I had to travel to Boulder, Denver, or Ft Collins to get the culture.
In Daejon Korea, I had quite an interesting time trying to find the cultural events, however the rewards were worth it.
